Who is God?
God is the designer and creator of the universe. God is eternal, all knowing, all powerful, omni-present, holy, just, merciful, and loves each person he created. He created people to commune with him and gave us a free will, so we may chose to love and commune with him in return.

Who is Jesus?
Jesus was a man who was miraculously born to a virgin in Bethlehem, south of Jerusalem, in 4 BC. During the last three years of his life, Jesus preformed miracles for individuals and large crowds, such as raising his friend from the dead, turning water into wine at a wedding, curing blindness, feeding 5,000 people from only a small amount of food, etc.

He lived a perfect life, without sin, until age 33 when his political enemies had him sentenced to death after an illegal trial. He was tortured and executed by being nailed to a cross. Three days later, he rose from the dead and appeared to his friends and a crowd of 500, proving that he was in fact God. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for the sin of everyone which allows people to reconnect with God, the creator. ​

How Can I Have a Relationship with God?
Because God loves us, he wants us live fulfilling lives, recognizing who he is and worshiping him. When we chose to ignore God, or live in a why that is opposed to his character, we sin and separate ourselves from him. Human nature is to be self-serving, so we all naturally do sin and need a way to reconnect with God.

Because God is just, there needed to be a way to make amends for the wrongs we have done so he instituted a sacrificial system to make atonement for people's sin. That system was in place from the first time Adam and Eve sinned until Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice for all humankind.

Now, all we have to do is believe that Jesus was God, that he paid the price for our sins and live in a way to be as much like God's own character as possible. Often, people find it helpful to pray and ask God to forgive their sins and thank him for providing the means for their sins to be atoned. By doing so, we can have a fulfilling relationship with God.
